What is tarot?
Tarot is a form of divination or a method of gaining insight into a question or situation through the use of a deck of 78 cards. The deck is divided into two sections: the Major Arcana, which consists of 22 cards that represent major life events or themes, and the Minor Arcana, which consists of 56 cards that represent minor events or influences.
In a typical tarot reading session you’d expect to seek guidance or insight into a particular question or situation, and I’ll provide interpretations of the cards that are drawn from the deck.
Tarot readings are not meant to predict the future. Rather, they are intended to provide guidance and insight, helping you to better understand the situation you’re facing and to make better decisions about how to proceed.
What are oracle cards?
Oracle cards are similar to tarot cards but are not bound by the traditional structure and symbolism of tarot decks. Instead, they often feature diverse themes, images, and messages. An oracle card reading is a form of divination or spiritual guidance that involves using a deck of oracle cards to gain insight into various aspects of life, receive guidance, or explore your spiritual path.
You’ll have multiple decks to choose from during a reading, though, that rings true for any of the card reading offerings. Oracle cards can not tell the future, though, sometimes they’re easier to relate with compared to tarot cards.
Oracle cards are intended to provide guidance and insight, helping you to better understand the situation you’re facing and to make better decisions about how to proceed. They usually provide a lighter message, and provide a unique spread of solutions. For example, during an Astrology Oracle reading, you’ll be prompted with what planets you should specifically work with, and a clear understanding of how to proceed.
